Job Description:
You shall team up with cross functional stake holders to understand the product development needs.
Identify, initiate, recommend, and oversee programs to design connector and cable assemblies like OSFP-XD, CDFP etc.
Understanding of interconnect standards like IEEE 802.3/ PCIe / InfiniBand will be an advantage
Know of product qualifications following EIA / TIA , MIL, IPC standard will be an advantage
Lead teams to drive NPI projects, to launch new
Establishes network of resources with multiple disciplines, with division & global manufacturing team..
Builds a working knowledge of key corporate initiatives and applies appropriate tools.
Provides appropriate and timely documentation of work as required by the business unit.
Intellectual Property: Create new intellectual property for new design work to consolidate 3M values for customer.
Demonstrate Can-do attitude.
Qualification
Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
At least 5 or more years of working experience in product design.
Preference to candidates with working knowledge of interconnect mould, tool, die-cast tooling etc.
Good written and oral communication skills
Able to communicate & work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams

Location: Woodlands, Singapore
Target Job Grade: T4 or equivalent
