Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.

• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree, PhD, further education, or experience in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.

• Experience in Android application development or AOSP.

• Experience in building web-based tooling software with limited UX resources.

• Experience in server side programming using Java, C++, or Python, or front-end programming using JavaScript or TypeScript.

• Knowledge in wireless communication and network protocols.

The Pixel Mobile Wireless team builds innovative mobile wireless software for the Pixel product family. We build a stable, reliable, low-latency and high throughput mobile wireless communication and connectivity system with Google innovative technologies on Google products.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s software and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

• Build advanced tools and infrastructure using Google’s technologies.

• Design and develop a comprehensive, software-as-a-service suite of web-based and Android-based tools to optimize connectivity software development lifecycle.

• Troubleshoot efficiency, lab and field test automation, decision support, asset utilization, issue management, and the automation of various business workflows.
