You assist in planning, developing and execution of capital projects, technical development, feasibility perspectives of engineering-related activities in the supply chain and capital-expense project execution to support growth, world-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest level of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You help ensure sure that Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and Mondelēz standards in execution are followed.

How you will contribute

The role supports capital project execution, and you will be accountable for the quality of the results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards, and business and innovation processes in project management. You will help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments with stakeholders so that accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions are provided and develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow. You will also help ensure that applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented, and support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.

What you need to know about this position:

  • Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products.

  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.

  • Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.

  • Manage local Engineering in execution of engineering projects, including CAPEX planning and tracking.

  • Provide potential supplier identification as well as correct bidding process and evaluation in line with KFI policies and supplier management strategies.

  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.

  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.

  • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time and within budget.

  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and stakeholder requirements.

  • Plan layout of electric power generating plants and distribution lines and stations. Assist in developing capital project programs for new equipment and major repairs.

  • Develop budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs.

  • Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies.

  • Support Project Manager with electrical project establishment and closeout.

  • Perform electrical developments executing quality, operation, and safety enhancements to firm’s production lines.

  • Conduct design of electrical engineering, parameters, and review.

  • Ensure to make decisions related to electrical engineering principles application to operation problems and requirements proposed.

  • Perform with technical specialists like electrical engineering, process, and automation to resolve complete requirement.

  • Develop and review of complex electrical project calculations.

  • Prepare reports and study existing technical information clearly and precisely to make precise project scope and AR’s.

  • Participate in project electrical work plan development.

  • Prepare BOQ and budgets for project executions.

  • Guide project installation and commissioning on final load testing.

  • Provide support to the production process through technical inputs on equipment installation, commissioning, and timely maintenance.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical )

  • Knowledge of PLC programming, inverter and electronics trouble shooting, SADA etc, assimilation of automation system of machineries

  • Knowledge of electrical installation, Cable sizing, cable lay outing, power factors, HSE and all relevant documents procedure

  • Should have a good knowledge of computer base Maintenance management system

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a engineering management role in FMCG

  • Hands on experience of project executions in process control ,automation and Powers installations

  • Good practical exposure of automation and controls of food processing and utilities equipment’s.
