Providence St. Joseph Health Program Manager - Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, Washington

Description Program Manager - Swedish Cherry Hill Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Day shift (averaging 40 hours per week/exempt). Monday-Friday, 8a-5p PST (some flexibility). Reporting to the Service Area CHRO, this Program Manager will be responsible for leading, directing, developing, implementing, and maintaining strategic workforce development. This will involve strategic planning and programming aimed at building a talent pipeline for the organization. The Manager's key responsibilities include creating defined pathways and services to help potential employees develop their skills and pursue professional opportunities with the organization. They will also identify and address any opportunities, establish a marketing protocol to ensure department managers and caregivers are aware of available services, and develop a process to anticipate occupational and entry-level workforce development needs. Additionally, the Program Manager will establish strong community partnerships to guide community residents and individuals towards productive careers. They will also support youth (high school) and college internships and manage the Youth program, which offers exposure to careers within the healthcare industry and post-secondary medical/healthcare education. Close collaboration with Nursing leadership, Clinical Education, and Talent Acquisition team will be essential in building successful programs. Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Social Service, Healthcare, Hospitality Administration or related field Or equivalent educ/experience 5 years Professional Project/Program administration experience 5 years experience in event planning Preferred qualifications: Non-Profit experience Why Join Providence?
