JLL Facilities Maintenance Technician in Seattle, Washington

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will operate and maintain building equipment and systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform general repairs, preventative maintenance and replacement of mechanical components including, but not limited to: floor kitchen equipment and appliances, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Respond to trouble ticket/work order requests in a speedy fashion with positive attitude Compose concise, clear email communication regarding current status of on-going projects and inform JLL team members when appropriate Maintain records, operation logs and files where appropriate, to include, preventative maintenance logs, tasks, pasts inventory, operating procedures, Methods of Procedures documentation (MOPs) inspection logs etc. Assist and develop skills in HVAC distribution and controls in order to make adjustments and/or corrective actions to resolve work orders, ensure occupant comfort and ensure critical room dependability Inspect all facilities on continuous basis, identify discrepancies, generate SIM Ticket requests, recommend future repair & maintenance projects and track life cycle of equipment Safely operate the facility in accordance with all applicable government and regulatory requirements. Demonstrate and enforce safety rules and behaviors. including online safety training. Identify, enforce, and assess safety hazards and risks. Participate in incident investigations. Qualifications Minimum Requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Two or more years experience in commercial building maintenance or related field Strong mechanical aptitude Strong customer service orientation and the ability to professionally respond to tenant requests JLL Is an Equal Opportunity Employer JLL is committed to developing and maintaining a diverse workforce.
