Your Job

  The Lead Information Technology Compliance is responsible for driving global technology-based compliance process es, initiatives / projects that support the acquisition and retention of security certifications an d demonstration of compliance with regulatory standards . A p ortion of the role will be focused on the management of IT risk via structured Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) an d will i nterface with site leadership to ensure a ppropriate information security protections are considered and implemented as n ew technology solutions are introduced to the company. The position will also be actively involved in the evaluation of these n ew technologies to ensure any risk to G lobalFoundries is understood , documented, and acknowledged.

This role is p art of a larger team responsible for improving the overall security posture of the company by delivering intelligence and context on corporate security posture and conditions.

 Y our detailed responsibilities will be:

  • Experience supporting or preferably leading audits based on i nformation t echnology con trols related to regulations or certification frameworks ( e.g . SOX, GDPR, ISO27001, Common Criteria , etc.) .

  • Experience implementing, managing, and/or evidencing the execution of IT Control Tests .

  • The ability to work across functions and geographic regions .

  • Develop ing , maintain ing , and enhanc ing related policies, document s, and procedures.

  • M aintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, applications, and IT infrastructure (including cloud environments ).

  • Assist in the identification, response, investigation, and remediation of security events and incidents as needed.  

  • Ensures adequate controls are in place to support the detection, investigation, correction, and/or disciplinary action related to information security breaches, violations, and other incidents.  

  • Enforce policies and follow up with risk and exception management .   

  • Work directly with third party providers, as well as other GF business functions ( HR, Legal and others ) when needed.  

  • Support ongoing and emerging programs and their associated tasks related to IT Compliance.

  • Work closely with the technical teams, and collaborate with the architecture, network and data center teams as needed.

  • Provide input into the evaluation, planning, configuration, and implementation of both new and existing initiatives.

    Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Information Technology or related discipline

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Fluent in English & German

  • Minimum 5 years of IT Audit / IT Compliance experience

  • Firm understanding of ITGC’s and IT Risk Management

  • Functional understanding of technology infrastructure and network technologies

  • Ability to perform analysis of IT risk control evidence

  • Comfortable with directing and leading the work of others

  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and track tasks to closure

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma / Master’s degree in information technology / IT risk management

  • Experience leading / managing IT Audits (e.g., ISO 27001)

  • Excellent technical documentation skills   

  • Working knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing processes
