What you will do

The University Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for developing sources of qualified applicants, reviewing and evaluating applications, conducting interviews and administering tests, informing applicants about job duties and company policies, working with management to confirm candidate selection and salary, participating in recruitment and selection projects, complying with local government regulations, developing cost effective recruiting programs, and developing relationships with referral agencies to identify qualified candidates:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative strategies for university recruiting that align with the company's goals and values.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and attract top talent from universities and colleges.

  • Organize and attend university career fairs and events to promote the company and build relationships with potential candidates.

  • Create and maintain relationships with university career centers and faculty to enhance the company's brand on campus.

  • Manage the recruitment process for university candidates, including screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.

  • Provide exceptional candidate experience by ensuring timely communication and feedback throughout the recruitment process.

  • Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of university recruiting efforts and make data-driven decisions to improve results.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities and other educational institutions to attract top talent.

  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.

  • Conduct initial phone and in-person interviews with candidates.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.

  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.

  • Facilitate the offer process and serve as the point of contact for candidates.

  • Participate in recruitment and selection projects to improve the hiring process.

  • Maintain compliance with local employment regulations.

  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2-4 years of experience in university recruiting or related field.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and university partners.

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative recruiting strategies.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools.

  • Ability to identify and attract top talent through various channels.

  • Familiarity with local employment regulations.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
