Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Sands Point, New York

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Sands Point, New York, for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in the telecommunication industry. In this role, you will handle our day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks, using your proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel to support the operational needs of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation in adherence to proper GAAP standards.

• Entering data, maintaining records, and creating reports and financial statements using QuickBooks and Excel.

• Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

• Coordinating and analyzing all financial transactions, audit work, and reconciling bank accounts.

• Managing company’s payroll and ensuring accurate and timely processing.

• Managing and maintaining organized and updated filing systems electronically.

• Preparing accurate work papers, schedules, and reconciliations for annual review and tax returns.

• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures.

• Serving as a key point of contact for external auditors; managing preparation and support of all external audit work. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook.

• Experience with ADP Financial Services is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting functions.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Ability to perform bank reconciliations.

• Experience in handling billing functions.

• Should have worked as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
