40 hours per week
Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m. -with occasional evening meeting
Benefits available after introductory period
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Age: 18
Valid State Drivers License required
Starting wage: \$17.00 per hour- DOE
Experience: Minimum 6 months office experience
Minimum required typing speed: 45 wpm-will be tested
Minimum lifting requirement: up to 40 pounds
General Duties:
- Answer phones and assist customers
- Pick up and distribute mail
- Proficient MS Word , Excel, Outlook-will be tested on Excel and Word
- Proficiency with 10-key preferred
- Receive payments, make deposits, maintain petty cash
- Order and maintain office supplies
- Prepare quarterly newsletter and other correspondence typing as requested
- Familiar with A/P and A/R
- Maintain various Spreadsheets for tracking and verification of payments
- Must be a self-starter and quick learner
- General file maintenance-both paper and electronic
- Some accounting knowledge and skills preferred
- Office Cleaning
- Other duties as assigned
This position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize work tasks and manage time effectively. Would be helpful to have some basic accounting knowledge. Must be capable of working independently and be flexible in response to changing office needs or requests. Good verbal and written communication skills and excellent math skills are a must. Must demonstrate an ability to tactfully handle difficult situations and have excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Honesty, integrity, good people skills and the ability to work well in a small office environment are required. Pre-employment drug testing and background check are required.
