Robert Half currently is hiring for an Accounts Payable Clerk to assist several clients in the San Mateo and Palo Alto areas.

The workload is supporting the accounts payable teams with their backlog of invoices, day-to-day operations and audit expense reports that need to be approved and paid on a weekly basis.

Requirements

The Accounts Payable Clerk must have at least one year of hands-on-experience supporting a company in accounts payable.

Responsibilities include:

-Data entry of accounts payable invoices into accounting software system;

-Matching of invoices with back-up and ensure that the invoices are coded to the chart of accounts that the company hasl

-Able to review the accounts payable invoices that do not have proper back-up and communicate with the manager or supervisor for guidance;

-Must be able to communicate effectively with the team and meet daily, weekly and monthly department deadlines outlined;

Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting is desirable.

Software: NetSuite, Oracle, SAP Hana/4, QuickBooks Online are preferred softwares, data entry-alphanumeric and Microsoft Excel.
