Are you ready for the next step of your career? We are seeking a talented Registered Veterinary Technician ( RVT ) to join our Supervisor Team ! The ideal technician supervisor will have excellent leadership, training, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Located in San Leandro, CA, VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital that has been caring for the pets of our community for over 25 years . Qualifications:

• 3 + year(s) as an RVT in a Specialty hospital

• Must have proven specialty/emergency RVT skills

Supervisory duties will include:

• Team training, development, and support

• Implementing department policies and procedure

• Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings

• Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs

• Record keeping

• Marketing

• Facility maintenance

• HR conversations

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $40 to $43 / hour.
