Exclusive employer in downtown San Francisco is looking for a full time Payroll HR Specialist to train during the summer and take over full responsibility for the position this coming Fall. Excellent opportunity to learn and grow payroll and HR skills at an established, respected San Francisco company. The Payroll HR Specialist will report to the Director of HR and process payroll using Paychex while learning to become a first point of contact for HR within the organization. The Payroll HR Specialist will maintain employee files, audit and approve timecards and submit any necessary payroll reconciliations. The Payroll HR Specialist will also be responsible for processing benefits requests. Direct knowledge of working with a broker is not required. Assist with the recruitment process and verify I-9 forms, documenting all necessary paperwork. Track LOA, FMLA, CFRA. Administer COBRA. Work with Union on pay and benefits issues.
