NIS is responsible for a portfolio of both established and emerging data/application integration products architected to support our mission-critical systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • You will own the innovation, design, and selection of new technologies in support of business and FRBSF integration engineering initiatives and priorities.

  • Develop and maintain integration services using AWS Transfer (family using SFTP, FTPS, FTP, and AS2 protocols).

  • Setup AWS Lambda runtimes, Python programming.

  • Configure and manage AWS Commercial and GovCloud services, including but not limited to EC2, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, and route53.

  • Provides production support including on-call rotation.

  • Establishes the environment and instance strategy for integration platform environments.

  • Leads efforts to establish, define, maintain, and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across multiple product teams as they migrate to the cloud.

  • Provides end-to-end support for solution integration, including designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting solutions.

  • Supports integration service release management activities.

  • Participates in defect and incident root cause analyses.

  • Defines standards to guide solution decisions in relation to multiple integration technologies.

  • Build solutions in accordance with Bank security policies that mitigate risk and increase efficiencies.

  • Train solution teams on the latest trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Analysis or equivalent work experience

  • The Sr Cloud Engineer typically requires five or more years of technical experience with all aspects of an integration product from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry with a focus on Enterprise file platforms.The Lead Cloud Engineer typically requires seven or more years of technical experience with all aspects of an integration product from design through development, testing, implementation, and production with extensive technical breadth through experience in the IT industry with a focus on Enterprise file platforms.

  • Strong working knowledge of AWS Transfer family and corresponding architecture at the level of a subject matter expert.

  • Experience working with but not limited AWS Lambda runtimes, Python programming, security groups, IAM roles & policies, load balancers, and route53.

  • Experience with Infrastructure as code using tools such as terraform, Gitlab pipelines.

  • Strong knowledge of high-availability, load-balancing and failover configurations across application, infrastructure, and platform components.

  • Ability to coordinate and work with diverse groups.

  • Must be a U.S Citizen or a Green Card holder with intent to become a U.S Citizen

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway with implementations demonstrating both On-Prem servers and AWS EC2's

  • Experience with IBM Secure Proxy, Axway Secure Transport, Connect Direct, Sterling Control Center

Base Salary Range: Min for Sr. Cloud Engineer: $101,400| Mid: $131,500 | Max: $161,800 (Location: San Francisco)

Base Salary Range for Lead Cloud Engineer: Min: $113,600 - Mid: $147,600 - Max: $181,600 (Location: San Francisco)

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
