FocusKPI Inc. Content Specialist in San Francisco, California
FocusKPI is looking for a Content Specialist to join our client, a high-tech SaaS company.
The main function of a content specialist writes, develops, edits, and publishes content and copy for a variety of platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, social media posts, infographics, whitepapers, and more.
Work Location: Remote- preferred timezone is MST,CT or PST.
OK with EST if willing to work west coast hours.
Note: 30 hours/week M-Thurs or M-F
Duration: 3 months with with potential for extension depending on your performance
Pay Range: $72/hr to $84/hr
Responsibilities:
Manage the content development process with the relevant SMEs and collaborators to ensure content is developed and delivered to standard.
Implement the process that consists of planning, production, approval, submission and publication of content across various Atlassian platforms (will include all internal messaging platforms, but may also include some external)
Develop easy to understand guidelines for stakeholders on how they can submit content for development.
To include: providing clear timelines, and adherence to project management best practices, to ensure Project/Program managers know when to expect content, how to contribute to reviews etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training required.
8+ years related experience required.
Experience with employee engagement campaigns or programs, and/or employee-centred communication strategies is a plus.
Video experience (doesn’t have to make videos but understand video productions).
High quality writer.
Has adaptability shift priorities
Capacity to collaborate with a distributed team (ex: worked on global team)
Knowledge of Atlassian tools, and understanding of basic marketing principles.
Collaborating async- across time zones.
Excellent project management skills, and ambiguity.
Good to have (preferred):
Agency experience (ad, communication)
Previously worked for tech company
This role will be part of the team responsible for improving how people work together
