The Wholesale Lending Transformation Team will develop and deploy Data Management controls, lineage, metadata and sourcing approaches consistent with Wells Fargo Data Management policy. Consultants will work directly with line of business, operations and technology partners to design requirements for deployment within the transformed lending platform of the Wholesale Bank.

Day to day execution of role entails:

  • Being a part of the design and deployment team of Wholesale Lending Transformation, delivering reformed Origination, Underwriting, Pricing, Spreading, Fulfillment, Servicing and Monitoring processes

  • Working as a cohesive team member to design a controlled data environment across Wells Fargo Wholesale Bank

  • Maturing Data Management practices within the Data Management and Insights (DMI) organization and through the Wholesale Bank

There are currently multiple openings available within this job posting such as:

  • Controls Data: Design and Implementation of front-end and data movement controls

  • Risk and Regulatory Leads: Accountable for the understanding, documentation and deployment of data integrity/quality validation from Risk and Regulatory INTO the Wholesale Bank

  • MetaData: Owner of the Data Dictionary and/or Metadata for WLT target applications; works closely with DMI target Metadata tools and roadmap

  • Data Governance Lead: Develop and deploy the strategic data components necessary to derive and ensure a consistent approach across Wholesale Lending Transformation (WLT) ensuring proper data governance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Contribution to the overall design of front-end and data movement controls across Wholesale Lending Transformation applications

  • Development of a deep understanding of data controls necessary to support Control Functions (Compliance, Risk and Regulatory Reporting) dependent on Wholesale Banking data

  • Partnership in the deployment and reporting of data controls with Technology, Operations and Line of Business partners

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

  • 4+ years of data management experience

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
