Job Overview

-Conduct technical evaluations of customer returned devices at system and device level utilizing tools such as ATE, XRAY, CSAM, IV curve, system level test, and bench tests.

-Setup/maintain NPI test equipment and CDP/MTP in the lab, including cabling, HW/SW configuration and software build loading for build testing, and QSPR test tree for medium and high tier snapdragon mobile and automotive products. .

-Provide leadership and be responsible for global product sustaining support; drive hardware and software readiness internationally. Generate monthly update reports to check hardware and software readiness status for every product sustaining site.

-Perform customized build testing and validation against test equipment. This includes testing on end customers test platform.

-Provide the first-level pass/fail evaluation of the test results, and rerun test cases with predetermined parameters and other test metrics. i.e. curve tracing equipment.

-Troubleshooting on the electrical failure analysis equipments and failed test cases; quickly isolate setup/configuration issues.

-Coordinate and facilitate test setup with other departments to ensure testing is up and running with respect to the appropriate infrastructure, processes and tools

Minimum Qualifications

-2 years of experience with software build testing on snapdragon mobile device. -Hands on experience on the RMA test equipment including, curve tracing, X-ray, SAM, reball machine.

-Experience in hardware trouble shooting, by using schematic and layout information.

Preferred Qualifications

-Experience with microelectronics, surface mount technology, semiconductor fabrication or assembly, and/or off-shore customer is a plus.

-Demonstrated proficiency in the following soft skills: being proactive and taking initiative to drive issue resolution; having a teachable attitude; being a team player

-Understanding key aspects of how IC manufacturing tests are performed and how it correlates with system behavior & knowledge.

Education Requirements

Preferred: Associate's, Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering
