JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Orthopedic Research Assistant position is responsible for providing research support to the Orthopedic Research division. This support includes data entry, review of data for quality assurance purposes, contacting patients for scheduled and/or research outcome visits with a physician, assist with IRB and other regulatory documents, and other administrative support for the department. The Senior Research Assistant also ensures appropriate use of standardized clinical data sheets for quality medical record data. The Senior Research Assistant position functions in a more independent capacity than the Research Assistant role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

2 years related experience

Knowledge of general research practices

Strong computer skills including MS Office software

Knowledge of basic anatomy

Good communication skills, both written and oral

Proficient on database and spreadsheet software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Support experience in a medical related field

The expected hiring range for this position is $22.00 to $30.26
