We are in the process of hiring a Staff Accountant for our Non-Profit industry located in San Bernardino, California, 92405, United States. The role will require a comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and QuickBooks online. Must be degreed and posses a strong understanding of GAAP accounting. Strong understanding of grants and budget allocation for non-profits. Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain precise customer credit records.

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and effectively.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and act accordingly to collect overdue payments.

• Regularly perform Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks.

• Conduct Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.

• Prepare Journal Entries and assist in Month End Close processes.

• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.

• Ensure adherence to accounting regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with other team members to achieve organizational goals.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Bank Reconciliations and Journal Entries

• Previous experience with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a non-profit setting

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

• Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations.
