The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a Technical Data Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Serve as a requirements analyst for the grouping and editing component team.
  • Deliver on quarterly release goals for assigned components.
  • Gather and interpret requirements as published by federal and state agencies.
  • Review requirements with product engineers and quality analysts prior to release.
  • Work closely with component engineers in implementing software modifications.
  • Support internal teams with escalated customer issues.

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND eight (8) years of healthcare related computer science experience working with patient classification systems and/or data analysis in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND twelve (12) years of healthcare related computer science experience working with patient classification systems and/or data analysis in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelors Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related applicable technical/health care field.
  • Excellent reading comprehension including the ability to translate and communicate complex regulatory documents both verbally and in written format to diversified audiences with various skill levels.
  • An understanding of medical grouping, editing, and coding, within the healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of and experience with ICD-10, HCPCS/CPT coding practices as well as familiarity with various groupers (M S-DRG, APC, APR, etc.).
  • Proven data analysis skills, with strong technical background.
  • Proven ability in working/coordinating with 3rd party entities.
  • Experience with billing and claims adjudication.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and commerc al payment methodologies and commercial insurance contracts.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
