Job Summary

Clinical Dietitian: Responsible for providing clinical nutrition services, including nutrition assessment, modified diet formulation, self-management training and nutrition intervention to residents/patients. Ensures satisfaction, quality care, regulatory agency compliance, and good public relations are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. Promotes a culture of wellness for residents/patients.

Supports accounts in the surrounding Saint Louis, MO market (included but not limited to: IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, OH, SD, WI with 25% or less out of this territory throughout the rest of the U.S.)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population

• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual

• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies

• Trains and mentor’s patient services staff and interns as applicable

• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

Qaulifications

Qualifications :

• At least two (2) years of managerial experiences in a hospital or nursing care preferred.

• Able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to prove care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served

• Able to problem solve independently when warranted, demonstrates knowledge of medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and nursing care communities

• Must possess excellent customer service & hospitality skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Registered Dietitian (Commission on Dietetic Registration).

• Must achieve Registered Dietitian
