Description:

The Technical Specialist works in a group supporting the many products in the Lubrication Business Unit. The products include hand-held lubrication tools, pumps, meters, valves, lubrication systems, and fluid management systems. Our client services most industries that use lubrication products.

The position will provide support to our full line of products including taking inquiries pertaining to service documentation, troubleshooting products, clarifying assembly/disassembly procedures by phone and online, and handling warranty issues. The position may also be required to document failures for further analysis and return of defective goods.

The following tasks with be performed by the Technical Specialist I in support of the product lines: support sales inquiries with product recommendations, taking inquiries pertaining to service documentation, remotely trouble shooting products, clarifying assembly/disassembly procedures by phone and online, provide guidance on warranty process, document product failures for further analysis and return of defective equipment.

Skills & Qualifications:

A four year degree in business or technical field desired. AS degree in technical field with 2 yrs applicable experience.

IDEAL CANDIDATE - has industrial maintenance or lubrication system maintenance in their background .

2yrs experience in a product oriented customer service or technical support role.

Mechanical aptitude is a MUST. Minimum experience with automotive parts and service tools.

Customer service aptitude is a MUST.
