The Navigation Targeting and Survivability Division (NTSD) is seeking an experienced leader to support the Division's international strategy and business development activities. This is an exciting time in NTSD as many of the Division's capabilities are being sought by international partners, and the Division needs experienced international leaders who can navigate the many international processes to achieve export approval and to foster international customer demand for our product lines. This is an onsite position that will allow for hybrid work arrangements.

Reporting to the Director of International Business Development within Strategy & Mission Solutions, the individual will lead efforts to:

• Identify markets, licensing opportunities, and determine the feasibility of product development.

• Perform economic analyses on new or improved product opportunities and/or business models and coordinate with internal departments to identify/implement new business opportunities.

• Work with commissioned sales representatives, Corporate, Sector and in country teams to determine customer needs and advance business opportunities.

• Liaise with USG entities in the FMS an export enterprise to build advocacy for Division product for approved US allies and partners.

• Develop and disseminate information on a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment of business goals and objectives.

Develop strategy for Division International growth . Work with Corporate and Sector International SG resources, Division, and Business Units (BU) to identify international growth markets, lines of business, and potential solution sets. Define win strategy and implementation (goals, objectives, strategy, and tactics) for the identified growth markets, lines of business, and individual opportunities. Work with Division and BUs to continuously evaluate the outlook for strategic growth and prioritize investment opportunities to bolster a high quality, high confidence pipeline.

Customer engagement. Engage International customers and USG international support agencies to understand customer needs and requirements and identify potential opportunities. Lead teams to identify various solutions to meet customer needs and requirements. Lead customer shaping efforts such as meetings, presentation, and demonstrations. Build strong relationships with strategic partners. Develop and maintain internal company and external strategic partnerships promoting growth. Facilitate awareness and collaboration between Division, Sector, Corporate, Customer Service Representatives, and strategic partner resources to identify and qualify potential opportunities and solutions.

International pipeline development. Develop a high quality, high confidence international pipeline through strategy development, opportunity identification, exploration, and qualification of business opportunities. Collaborate with International SG, CSRs , customers, and strategic partners to identify new opportunities. Lead phase 1 efforts to develop the artifacts required to initially qualify opportunities (i.e., export licenses, RFI responses, budgets and timelines, white papers, customer and competitor assessments, technical solution, black hats, win strategy, investment plan). Lead preparation and conduct of pipeline reviews of qualified opportunities.

Support Division Capture Teams in execution of the Business Acquisition Process. Responsibilities include leading customer and strategic partner engagements, maturation and evolution of win strategy, support in establishing export licenses (i.e. marketing licenses and technical assistance agreements), support in establishing teaming arrangements, providing oversight to ensure the technical solution meets customer needs, proposal development, and preparation and conduct of gate reviews.

Background and Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience

• Demonstrated direct or related experience with DoD weapon systems

• Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) experience

• Candidate should have proven experience in the establishment of new customer relationships with the objective of identifying customer needs andtechnology roadmaps to establishnew opportunities for market/business expansion.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• U.S. Citizenship is required.

• Holds a Secret Clearance

Desired Skills

• Masters of Science or MBA Degree.

• Experience in requirements development, program management, and acquisition is desired.

• General knowledge of military aircraft systems/capabilities, and/or Northrop Grumman Navigation, Targeting and Survivability programs including EW, IRCM, targeting and PNT experience.

• ITAR and export policy experience

• Demonstrated direct or related experience in electronic warfare systems, EO/IR systems or tactical radars/weapons.

• TS/SCI clearance

Salary Range: $156,800 - $235,200

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
