Remote Wet Utilities Estimator

Job Description:

The Stormwater/Wet Utility Estimator will be responsible for project estimation of post construction projects within the stormwater and wet utility space.

Will report directly to director of estimating. Sr. level role that will be partly responsible for management of other estimating team members.

· Manage and develop a team of estimators working on stormwater-related construction bid packages.

· Review proposal opportunities and procure the relevant information to produce comprehensive construction bid packages.

· Review deficiencies identified by team personnel to generate construction bid packages.

· Contacting regulatory authorities to discuss aspects of violations.

· Develop comprehensive scope of work to address the clients needs.

· Create bid takeoff to determine quantities for bidding.

· Contacting subcontractors to obtain cost quotes for projects and developing relationships for bidding purposes. Reviewing bids to ensure consistency.

· Obtaining material cost quotes for proposals. Developing and maintaining material pricing databases for bidding purposes.

· Occasional travel (5 -10%) to review projects or continuing education opportunities.
