ATTRIBUTES
  • In lieu of degree, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • 6 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in dealing with physicians, ancillary staff and patients
  • Strong analytical, computer, organizational, customer service and communication skills
  • For the transportation departments, knowledge of IDX and CCS is beneficial
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate pre-admission testing schedules, OR times, and schedule changes with planned requests for perioperative services
  • Coordinates the daily History and Physical (H&P) schedule with the Lead Nurse Practitioner ensuring accuracy and making changes as necessary
  • Leads a team of schedulers, providing guidance as needed
  • Mentors and trains new employees to help them reach the standards of the department.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

PAY RANGE: $18.00 - $23.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
