Erdman, Anthony and Associates, Inc. Chief Bridge Inspector in Rochester, New York
This position is eligible for a $2,000 sign on bonus.
An experienced NICET IV certified Chief Bridge Inspector is needed for the NYSDOT Region 4, I-490 Bridge Replacements (BIN 4443429 & BIN 1048989) over the Erie Canal and Kreag Road in the Town of Perinton, New York. This is anticipated to be a large project with a construction cost estimated to exceed $30 million. Work is anticipated to begin in the Spring of 2024 and complete in the Fall of 2026.
Responsibilities
Oversee contractors' work to ensure conformance to contract documents
Supervise work of other inspectors
Address field and design changes as necessary
Prepare daily work reports documenting completed work for payment to contractor
Requirements
A valid driver's license is required.
Must have a minimum of 20 years of NYSDOT construction inspection experience on bridges.
Efficient with the use of Site Manager.
Provide a detailed resume highlighting your bridge experience and a minimum of two client references.
