• Manages and implements projects of moderate complexity.

• Provides leadership and support to team members in support of the operation of certification programs.

• Interfaces with business unit stakeholders to ensure that certification programs meet customer and internal stakeholder needs and expectations.

• May lead teams to continuously improve and drive quality into UL's services to internal and external customers.

• Supports Program/Scheme owner in the operation and enhancements of certification schemes.

• Supports program escalations.

• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

As a Certification Program Specialist for the Saudi Product Safety Program, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the certification process to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards. Your primary duties will include:

Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and enhance certification programs to meet the evolving needs of the Saudi Product Safety Program.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with local regulations and standards related to product safety and certification, ensuring that all certification processes align with these requirements.

Application Processing: Manage the intake and processing of certification applications, reviewing documentation and ensuring completeness and accuracy.

Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of certification activities, including application materials, test results, and certifications issued.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the certification process and addressing any inquiries or concerns.

Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the consistency and integrity of the certification process, including periodic audits and reviews.

Training and Education: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for internal staff and external stakeholders on certification requirements and processes.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the certification program, implementing best practices to enhance overall effectiveness.

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Bachelors Degree Engineering, International Relations, or other specialization based on the specific coverage, preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

• Deep knowledge of the TIC business and the industries in which the business functions.

• Understanding of scheme operation requirements and ability to connect those to business needs and customer preferences.

• Natural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message.

• Ability to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal.

• Able to deal in the ambiguity and take decisions, support customer in understanding their problem and provide valid solutions based on their knowledge schemes and past experiences.

• Experienced and knowledgeable for a certain geographic area, specific areas of regulations.

• Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts in a clear way, network builder.

• Experience in establishing and operating schemes as per ISO/IEC 17065.
