DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAT/ACT Test Prep Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in standardized test preparation, with a focus on the SAT and ACT exams. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized instruction to help students achieve their highest potential scores. We are currently seeking individuals to fill tutor positions in and around Ridgewood, NJ. The Tutor will be responsible for meeting with students outside of school hours, and in the student's home or library.   RESPONSIBILITIES * Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions in SAT and ACT preparation, tailored to the individual needs of each student. * Provide homework between sessions.  * Develop and implement effective teaching strategies and test-taking techniques. * Track and analyze students' progress and adapt instruction methods to meet their evolving needs. * Provide feedback and guidance to students and their families on academic progress and test preparation strategies. * Stay updated with the latest changes in SAT and ACT exam patterns and content. * Collaborate with Tutor Doctor staff and other tutors to share best practices and contribute to the development of teaching materials as needed. QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAT/ACT test preparation with proven results. * Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field (preferred). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and motivate students. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Flexibility to work with students in-person.
