Solar Energy Solutions Electrician in Richmond, Virginia

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on solar energy systems

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure electrical designs comply with industry standards and codes

  • Conduct inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions

  • Install and connect electrical components, including inverters, wiring, and solar panels

  • Test and commission solar energy systems to ensure optimal performance and safety

  • Complete documentation and recordkeeping related to electrical work

  • Provide technical support to other teams within the company and assist with training new hires

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installations and maintenance

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components

  • Familiarity with solar energy systems and related equipment

  • Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.

  • Ability to Travel

  • Tread and Bending of Rigid Pipe experience.
