Position Overview

This individual will be responsible for partnering with functional leadership to effectively manage and provide oversight to Paylocity’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG). This role is responsible for ensuring ERG initiatives and activities are in alignment with Paylocity’s overall business and ERG strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with and oversight from the Director of DEIA/CSR, execute on established ERG strategy by providing guidance and oversight to ERG communities, ERG Executive sponsors, and ERG leaders.

  • In collaboration with the Director of DEIA/CSR, work closely with DEIA Talent Attraction & Retention Specialist and DEIA Program Manager to understand DEIA data and curate ERG programming to address areas of opportunity

  • Monitor and track ERG activities and provide measurements of program impact to the business and department strategic goals.

  • In collaboration with Director of DEIA/CSR and L&D team, create and deliver training content to support the development of ERG leaders and their capabilities to lead their respective ERG communities.

  • Act as a project manager to oversee ERG events to ensure alignment with Paylocity's voice, values, and strategy.

  • Accountable for tracking and recording actual spend for DEIA related initiatives

  • Stay informed of and monitor community groups and informal employee networks to determine "Special Interest Group," Affinity Group," or potential ERG status.

  • Provide timely updates and recommendations to the Director of DEIA/CSR when learning of or identifying areas of opportunity to better support and improve employee attraction, retention and employee engagement.

  • Provides program updates and trends to Paylocity's Diversity Leadership Council (DLC), as requested.

  • Stay informed of social and legal climate related to DEIA and ERG industries.

  • Required Education and Experience

  • BA/BS or master’s degree in human resources or business-related field

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience leading employee functions or programs

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong business acumen.

  • Ability to articulate complex ideas into simple terms.

  • Must be able to demonstrate prior success in leading people and/or groups, formally or informally.

  • Must be able to demonstrate prior success in developing partnerships, externally, with team members, and business leaders.

  • Must be able to demonstrate prior success in managing deadlines for deliverables.

  • Strategic and analytical thinker

  • Strong presentation and written communication skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate prior success managing multiple tasks and priorities while keeping the needs of the business top of mind.

  • Must be able to demonstrate strong organization and planning skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $75,000-$107,400/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here.
