You as a Manufacturing Engineer are responsible for leading product industrialization efforts and supporting the current production processes at our manufacturing site. Responsible for developing and enhancing manufacturing processes and test methods, this position collaborates closely with key stakeholders to ensure smooth production with the highest quality and productivity while also sustaining these efforts over time. You will be located in Regensdorf (Switzerland).
Your responsibilities:
Support efforts to transition development initiatives to feasible and scalable manufacturing solutions; ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes based on product requirement specifications in close collaboration with product engineering, supply chain, and the manufacturing team
Provide feedback on design aspects and facilitate FMEA exercises for new or existing product lines; manage the implementation of engineering changes
Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and fabrication processes for parts, components, and assemblies to ensure safety, product quality, manufacturability and enhance efficiency
In collaboration with the supply chain function, review technical documentation, evaluation of materials, tooling and test equipment
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve production yield and quality issues, and investigate issues using a systematic approach to root cause and corrective actions
Your qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Optical Engineering or related discipline
Manufacturing Engineer 3+ years’ experience in consumer electronics, automotive electro-mechanical and electronic components/systems, aerospace electromechanical and electronics systems or medical device electro-mechanical and electronic components
Fluent in German
Demonstrated knowledge of Lean manufacturing principlesand toolsresulting in efficiency and production gains
Ability to interpret technical drawings and Geometric Dimensional and tolerances (GD&T)
Ability to automate standard data analysis using programming languages
