Albireo Energy, LLC Systems Specialist, Intern in Redmond, Washington
Albireo Energy Seattle is a leader in the Pacific Northwest for open-protocol and custom developed Building Automation and Industrial Control systems. We are seeking multiple interns for summer 2023 to work with our Building Automation team.
This position is ideal for individuals looking to get their start in building automation, HVAC Direct Digital Controls, energy efficiency, and other related fields. Individuals that look to gather pertinent experience with real commercial applications of their theoretical knowledge will make a lot of progress.
This position is a 3-month paid internship with the potential for early start or extension. Start dates are flexible based on employee’s schedule.
In this position, your duties will entail:
DDC Controls, Graphics implementation, and database programming.
Field activities including installation supervision, field testing, and site investigations, enabling application of theoretical knowledge in commercial implementations.
Check performance and conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection, point verification and testing.
Mechanical and electrical design and review assistance.
Control system design and review assistance.
Assist with the preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
Requirements
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Completed coursework in control systems and control systems programming.
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience with PDF editing software.
Ideal candidates should be pursuing, or completing, a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics or related fields.
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr. DOE.
