We’re part of the Universal Store Team (UST), getting customers to find, try, buy, and love our products and services. UST’s services are integral to all of Microsoft’s key businesses, including Azure, Office 365, XBOX, Bing Ads, and the Microsoft Store on Windows. We support over 240 markets, handle over 150 million transactions a day, and bring in half a billion dollars of revenue every month.
We’re looking for a bright, passionate program manager who’s focused on making customers happy, who’s strong at analyzing and driving decisions based on data, and who partners well with a development team to build and quickly evolve user experiences. Our experiences help customers sign up for, acquire, and manage the products and services they need from Microsoft. You’ll be building products that are high quality, scalable, and reliable, serving organizations around the world.
You’ll be responsible for combining customer needs, data-driven insights, and business requirements to determine the most important customer scenarios, define a point of view on how to address these scenarios, create the user experience designs, and then write detailed functional specifications. Working closely with a diverse engineering team, as well as marketing, design, research, and other partners across the Universal Store, Azure Active Directory, and Microsoft product teams, you’ll turn those specifications into deliverables and manage the communication and release of features to customers.

5+ years of program management experience and shipping products.
BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Excellent user experience design skills.
Experience working effectively across multiple groups to deliver results.
Strong technical foundation, with demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Experience managing requirements across both business and engineering teams.
Proficient with Agile software development methodologies.
A successful candidate will be highly motivated and willing to take on challenging initiatives, comfortable working both independently and on a team, and able to follow through to deliver high-quality, data-driven customer experiences.
