Electrical Engineer 5 BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer 5 for an opportunity in Redmond, WA/Remote! Position Title: Electrical Engineer 5 Location: Redmond, WA/Remote Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date. Expected Duration: 03 Months Job Type: [FULL TIME [CONTRACT], [Remote] Pay Range:[$60] - [$70] Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.). Requirements: 1. Minimum 5 years experience with FPGA that have gone into shipping progress - Lattice Preferred 2. Minimum 5 years experience with video processing 3. Minimum 5 years of MIPI, I2C, Ethernet FPGA: Environment: * Lattice FPGAs for video processing. * Leverage existing IP Blocks. Tasks: * Assist with MIPI IP Block integration on a 3-member team (smaller task). * Drive a full design that captures multiple MIPI camera streams and outputs a GigE Camera Protocol. The other team members will assist you. (this is a large effort). Candidate Requirements: * Years of Experience Required: 10+ overall years of experience, Lattice FPGA experience and video processing. * Degrees or certifications required: BS in Electrical Engineering, preferred masters. Desired Skills: * FPGA - Lattice Preferred * MIPI, I2C, Ethernet * GigE Protocols (ethernet programming familiarity) Environment: * PC based software * Leverage SDKs Tasks: * Command/control video over GigE Camera Protocol (8 cameras; qty 2 ethernet cables transmitting 4 cameras per cable) * Store captured image data and telemetry from the system.
