JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor in Electrical Engineering; Term, multi-year

Penn State Berks (Reading, PA) invites applications for a non-tenure, multi-year position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Teach ing Professor , beginning August 2024 . RESPONSIBILIT IES :

Teach electrical discipline courses in the first two years of the e ngineering baccalaureate program s and courses in the electro-mechanical e ngineering t echnology b accalaureate program . Possible course topics include PLCs, DC and AC circuits, digital circuits, microprocessors and microcontrollers, motors and generators , 3-phase power, computers and networking, device interfacing, digital signal processing, automated control systems, and software programming . A dvise /mentor students and provide service to the college and the profession .

QUALIFICATION S :

A m inimum of a Master's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline is required .

SCHEDULE :
