Short Lane Vegetable Farm Farm Worker/ Equipment Operator in Reading, Pennsylvania
This is a Temporary Position. Dates of employment are 5/2/2024 to 11/28/2024. Workers will plant, weed, harvest, stake, and transplant, crops by hand but mostly using machines such as a tow behind mechanical transplanters, stake-drivers, and tractors. Workers must be able to communicate verbally in English and by line of sight. Crops are strawberries, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli, zucchini, cauliflower and sweet corn, asparagus.
