The Global Site & Supply Chain Services Finance team demonstrates financial leadership and analytics to drive value in the areas of cross-sector Supply Chain, inclusive of Global Transportation, Enterprise Contract Management, and Supply Chain Excellence. These groups are part of Enterprise Supply Chain (SC) and act as Centers of Excellence by partnering closely with SC sector groups in each region to enable reliable supply to our customers around the world. Our purpose is to enhance value by combining an eye for business with forward-looking analytics to deliver insights that energetically drive our business toward a healthier future. A role in Global S&SCS Finance will enable individuals to develop key skills as a finance leader at J&J: problem-solving, organizational change, influencing skills, data driven analytics, talent development, and exposure to Senior Finance management.

Key Responsibilities:

The SFA is responsible for supporting and business partnering with these CoE groups with the purpose of creating transparency around cost drivers, aligning on investments, and enabling the CoEs to pursue their objectives around enhancing customer centricity, digitalization, and operational efficiency. There is great exposure to leadership and opportunities to collaborate with various team members. Details of responsibilities:

  • Act as trusted business partner to the Enterprise Contract Management (ECM), and Commercial Quality VPs and directors, providing direct strategic financial leadership, and support the budgeting process.

  • Financial responsibility within select cost centers in JJHCS MRC 1710, handling reporting and forecasting requirements and meeting SOX compliance requirements.

  • Ownership of the HCS Allocations and coordination of charge-out process across J&J Sectors.

  • Ownership of the consolidation process for Forecast Updates (BP, JU, NU) and Latest Thinking for MRC 1710

  • Financial leadership & support of key projects within the ECM and Commercial Quality areas and other managed budgets.

  • Keeping business leaders informed of financial results, proactively handling risks & opportunities, and making informed recommendations to leadership to tackle issues and bring forward opportunities.

  • Ensuring the TO&R investment portfolio is aligned with segment strategies.

This is a high-visibility role with significant opportunities to present to management including Supply Chain Finance and Supply Chain business leaders. The role requires a high level of motivation, the ability to perform sophisticated analysis on a timely basis and with limited direct supervision.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.

  • A minimum 3 years of finance experience in a multi-national company/environment is required.

  • Experience with Business Planning (forecasting and budgeting), business partnering (working with teams outside of Finance) and explaining variances to budget is preferred.

  • Must be able to handle competing priorities and meet deadlines, required.

  • Excellent analytical, accounting, communication, and presentation skills, including fluent oral and written English communication, are required.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required (formulas, VLOOKUP functions, Pivot Tables, etc.).

  • Previous Supply Chain or Healthcare industry experience is preferred.

  • MBA, CMA, or CPA advanced certification is preferred.

  • Experience in navigating and thriving in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment is preferred.

  • The candidate should be able to work collaboratively and inclusively in a team environment and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives, required.

  • This position is located in Raritan, NJ, and may require up to 10% of travel (domestic & international).

The base pay range for this position is $76,000 - $121,900

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
