We're searching for an exceptional Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Train Engineer with WMS integration with ERP experience to be part of our WMS replacement initiative to start with. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in coordinating and facilitating the agile delivery process for this strategic project. This position presents a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and expertise to positively impact the lives of patients worldwide by optimizing our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Release Train Engineer (RTE) for the WMS replacement initiative, overseeing the agile release train (ART) and ensuring alignment with our mission to deliver life-saving medications.

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, scrum masters, and stakeholders to prioritize features, manage dependencies, and optimize the delivery of value to patients in need.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, Inspect & Adapt, and lead ART Leadership meetings.

  • Drive continuous improvement within the ART by identifying bottlenecks, resolving impediments, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration to ensure the timely delivery of critical medications.

  • Act as a servant leader, guiding teams through the SAFe framework, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of accountability and empowerment in service of our mission.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing visibility into the progress, risks, and outcomes of the WMS replacement initiative, highlighting the impact on patient care.

  • Facilitate ART Ceremonies.

  • PI Planning.

  • Inspect & Adapt.

  • ART Leadership meetings.

  • Drive Clearance of Impediments in servitude of the ART and in conjunction with Steering Committee.

  • Collaboration

  • Work across multiple BT, Architecture, PL and TS groups to define and deliver innovation solutions.

  • Accountable for cross team communication.

  • Understands core internal IT products and ability to drive business value.

  • Business Process Improvement

  • In partnership with Product Management, continuously drive process improvement opportunities.

  • Leadership by influence

  • Lead cross functional teams to drive them to a solution that addresses the business needs.

  • High level of flexibility to ensure responsibility for the shape and design of projects required throughout any multi area of the business and cross PLs solutions.

  • Communicate within the technical and business environments with ability to interpret, develop and present information to multiple audiences.

  • The SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) will:

  • Optimize flow and communications across iterations and Product Increments (PI)

  • Facilitate PI Planning via synthesis of Vision, Roadmap and Backlogs

  • Periodic synchronization across Release Trains & Solution Trains, with Inspect & Adapt workshops.

  • Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature & capability estimation.

  • Escalate impediments to Steering Committees for assistance in clearance for the team.

  • Driving Scaled Agile delivery, working in partnership with the Product Owner and Solution / Data Engineer roles to manage risk in the backlog.

  • Subject Matter expert in platform solutions offered throughout Johnson & Johnson Technology.

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree required.

  • Latest SAFe certification (SAFe RTE certification preferred) and experience implementing SAFe principles in large-scale software development investments is required.

  • Proven track record of success as a Release Train Engineer or similar role, leading agile teams in delivering complex software solutions. (Preferred)

  • Deep understanding of agile methodologies, lean principles, and DevOps practices is required.

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integration with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities, always keeping the patient's needs at the forefront.

  • Experience working with cross-functional IT teams such as Infrastructure, Testing, and Integration Services (preferred).

  • Experience in preparing detailed estimates for implementations.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $118,000- $203,550
