Regional Lead Merchandiser (Project Coordinator DG Solo)

Salary Range: $18.50/hr. - 18.75/hr.

The Opportunity

As a Regional Lead Merchandiser, you will work as the lead on a project from start to finish. This includes coordinating and organizing client goals and standards through smooth planning and budgeting. Above all, the main responsibility of a Regional Lead Merchandiser is to make sure the SASR team, clients and customers are treated with respect, get the tools and information they need, and to finish on time and within budget – all while encouraging pride in your team’s work and wowing the client.

What You’ll Do

  • Understand the client’s company policies and procedures and lead the team in following them as directed.

  • Create and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with procedures, such as wearing appropriate safety gear.

  • Monitor daily tasks and change course as needed for timely project completion.

  • Help adequately staff the project, while ensuring attendance and productivity is met by all associates.

  • Assist with uplifting and instilling confidence while training new employees.

  • Oversee associates who are engaged in completing planograms (POGS,) as well as supporting the store in stocking, cleaning, and customer service.

  • Perform clerical tasks needed, such as taking photos of work, sending emails, and answering client needs.

  • Show up each day with understanding and patience: no list can be comprehensive and sometimes, duties can change with or without notice.

Work Experience

What You Need

  • Resume with related work experience.

  • Retail supervisory experience (Minimum of 1 year required)

  • Retail merchandising experience (Minimum of 2 years required)

  • A desire to travel (up to 100%) and up to 400 miles away from you home location.

  • Your own transportation

  • Experience reading and setting planograms.

  • An understanding of how to read various versions of a store floorplan, maps, and schematics.

  • Ability to assemble and disassemble various retail fixtures, such as gondolas, power wings, and end caps.

  • Great communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated visual merchandising skills.

  • Basic merchandiser equipment and tools needed.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.

  • Exhibit good leadership skills by promoting an inclusive team environment.

  • Minimum of 1 year program commitment preferred.

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience preferred.

  • Be familiar with spreadsheets (Smartsheet)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted & more than 50 pounds with a team.

  • Occasionally ascend and descend ladders for stocking, fixtures, etc...

  • Work will at times include inclement and cold conditions.
