Essential duties:

• MUST HAVE ADEQUATE TRANSPORTATION TO THE SOR WAREHOUSE, M-F BY 7 AM SHARP. Most employees finish the days' jobs by 2 to 4 PM each day. Overtime is often available for interested employees with adequate training and skills. Paid breaks and lunch.

• Driver's license required for this posting

• Ability to be cleared to be added to our insurance (i.e. at least 3 years' experience as a licensed driver, a good driving record).

• Must be able to lift and pull 50 lbs. Must be able to haul 28-foot ladders for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry blowers for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to meet size/ weight minimums and maximums for fall protection, ladders, and harnesses. (With some exceptions, those weighing between 150 lbs. and 270 lbs. will generally be able to properly use our equipment. Feel free to ask for more details if you are closer to the lower or higher ends and we will do our best to work with you.)

• Must be able to walk, stand, squat, climb, and safely utilize ladders and execute roof safety protocols.

• Must be able to read, understand, and follow safety instructions at all times, including OSHA and MSDS information.

  The priorities of SOR Gutter Cleaning Technicians are:

  This position requires the ability to learn and perform the following job activities:

• Effective use of leaf blowers

• Walking roofs up to 3 stories

• Effective communication with lead technician

• Professional and appropriate customer-facing communication and behavior

• Ladder setup and safety

  Compensation

• Overtime pay at time and a half (optional, when available)

• 401K with matching available after 60 days

• Health insurance after 60 days

• Supplemental insurance available, with some options paid directly by SOR after 60 days (For example, a dental policy for an individual is fully covered at no cost to the employee)

  • A valid NC Driver's License/ reliable legal transportation to our North Raleigh warehouse no later than 7:00 AM weekdays

  • Gutter Cleaning or related construction or climbing experience is a plus. Additionally, please notify us if you have experience in minor deck repairs, board replacements, and/or deck staining.

  • A positive attitude and willingness to work with a team. Great communication with co-workers and supervisors.

  $14+/ hour for those with little experience - we will train you! There's room to grow - and quickly.

  ($17-$19/hour+ for those with advanced experience the company needs.)

  $14 floating tech

  $15 - $18 Associate Tech experienced level

  Lead Techs earn a base salary plus efficiency bonus. Most of our Lead Techs were hired with no experience and trained with us! We love to promote internally!
