Description We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to be part of our team, located in Quincy, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be expected to handle various accounting tasks in an efficient and organized manner. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming and outgoing policy/premium adjustments for customers

• Prepare and report on these adjustments, making notations and preparing journal entries

• Accurately perform data entry of EFT information

• Resolve discrepancies with appropriate departments as necessary

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for various accounting functions

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and conduct auditing where necessary

• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts and take action to collect delinquent payments

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.

• Prior experience in Auditing is a significant advantage.
