What You’ll Be Doing:

Senior Analyst, Internal Reporting

Evolent is looking for a Senior Analyst, Internal Reporting to join our Internal Reporting team under the Accounting function. The role will report to the Manager, Internal Reporting. Evolent’s Internal Reporting team supports various company stakeholders, including executive leadership, with data-driven financial analyses to inform decision-making and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial reports, including monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and ad hoc materials as needed.

  • Calculate and summarize key financial and business metrics.

  • Collaborate with the Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and Investor Relations teams for successful month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and create new financial reports as needed.

  • Develop weekly and monthly process cadences to support existing and new reporting.

  • Maintain process documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of accounting or finance experience.

  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); proficient in accounting / financial principles.

  • Extraordinarily detail-oriented and focused on accuracy.

  • Excellent analytical skills, written and oral English communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and adapt to new issues / assignments as business needs change.

  • Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or master’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • Experience with Workday or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or other reporting tools.

  • Experience in public accounting.

  • Experience in or exposure to the U.S. healthcare space.

Other Information:

  • This role is based in India with the ability to work from home. Office space is available, if desired, in Pune, India.

  • Flexibility and work-life balance are cornerstones of Evolent’s employee experience. This role will occasionally require overlap with U.S. Eastern Time working hours for training and to enable collaboration to meet key deadlines (such as month-end close, quarter-end close, and year-end close); otherwise, the individual will be able to choose their preferred working hours.

Mandatory Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
