Robert Half is seeking a Budget Analyst/Accountant for our client they will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing budgets, monitoring institutional spending, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. They play a key role in decision-making processes by providing accurate financial information and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets.

• Analyze historical data and current financial trends to forecast future revenues and expenses.

• Ensure that budgets align with organizational goals and objectives.

• Prepare detailed budget reports and presentations for management review.

• Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial performance with budgeted amounts.

• Identify areas of concern or opportunities for cost savings.

• Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.

• Proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting.

• Strong proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting principles.
