Overview: Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This position will be responsible for all offerings including solar, eMobility, BESS, and Energy Management. The candidate will be responsible for sales collateral, competitive product positioning, and product collateral for all business units. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles, with a deep understanding of the solar, energy storage, or eMobility industries. This role requires strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and a results-oriented mindset. Responsibilities: Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy to support the company's growth objectives, brand positioning, and market penetration in the solar, eMobility, and BESS industries. Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration, professional development, and a culture of excellence. Drive brand awareness and brand equity through consistent messaging, visual identity, and innovative marketing campaigns across various channels. Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities, and use these insights to inform marketing strategies and tactics. Collaborate closely with the sales team to align marketing and sales efforts, support lead generation, and optimize the conversion of leads into customers. Manage the company's online presence, including the website, social media platforms, and online advertising, ensuring optimal user experience and effective lead conversion. Develop thought leadership initiatives, including content creation, industry partnerships, and speaking engagements. Maintain marketing collateral and create datasheets, presentations, and value-added material when applicable. Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, generate regular reports, and provide insights to senior management to inform decision-making and optimize marketing efforts. Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and drive the implementation of innovative marketing strategies to stay ahead of the competition. Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to support marketing initiatives and enhance brand reputation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the solar industry or renewable energy sector. Minimum of 7 years of direct people leadership experience Deep understanding of the solar, eMobility, and BESS industries, market dynamics, and customer needs, including knowledge of the regulatory landscape and industry trends. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse marketing team to achieve exceptional results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and articulate marketing strategies, concepts, and results to diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven marketing decisions. Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and tools, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, and marketing automation platforms. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, strategic partners, and influencers. Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ability to travel to conferences and industry events domestically and internationally. Ability to travel to Headquarters (TN) on an as needed basis.
