SUMMARY

The Station Leader for PDX Operations will oversee operation to support company goals and objectives. Responsible for leading a team engaged in delivering Airline Ground Transportation Services, the Station Leader ensures the acquisition and development of a team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service and surpassing client expectations.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide leadership to the transportation and schedule management team.

  • Operate as a successful business unit by reporting on revenues, KPIs, budget planning, and talent management.

  • Enforce a commitment to safety in all policies and tasks, promoting a "Safety First" culture.

  • Develop and execute effective daily and weekly work schedules, addressing operational functions proactively.

  • Coordinate activities to achieve "Raving Fan" service levels and exceed client expectations.

  • Respond to all internal/external communications (MOR, FCR, HR, Management, accident/incident reports) within corporate Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Direct recruiting and employee acquisition initiatives, ensuring a trained and qualified team for successful station operations.

  • Lead the Performance Management process, including timely documentation and delivery of Performance Disciplinary write-ups, Semi-Annual, Annual Performance Assessments, and individual training plans.

  • Develop an operating team accountable for SkyHop Global values, emphasizing adherence to standard operating procedures.

  • Coordinate accurate documentation and completion of vehicle maintenance requirements and records; schedule regular audits of unit vehicles.

  • Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures by all team members.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Establish strong working relationships with internal departments and the extensive customer base.

  • Bring a high level of passion for exceeding all client expectations.

  • Address customer needs/concerns to maintain operational excellence.

  • Prioritize, implement, and manage work schedules, projects, and relationships effectively.

  • Strong technical skills with the ability to produce accurate and timely reports.

  • Fluency in English; a second language is helpful.

  • Two to three years of experience in transportation or related industries.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, work outdoors in various conditions, possess a valid driver’s license, and be approved by the Company’s insurance carrier.

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and/or evenings.
