The Event Specialist will be responsible for planning, organizing and executing all aspects of our trade shows and customer experience events.

Job Components:

Major Responsibilities

                                                           

  • Audit events submitted for BFG participation

  • Evaluate and determine best booth space and selection

  • Creates pre-show briefs and manages set meetings

  • Maintains and leads milestones checklist progress

  • Ensure booth layout and design meets BFG standards

  • Responsible for logistics management for all marketing materials for show, booth and event shipment and return

  • Event registration and badging

  • Lodging logistics in compliance with event discounts and BFG standards

  • Range ammunition shipping

  • Coordinates SWAG orders for show attendees

  • Develops and enforces show staffing schedules

  • Working with legal team, meets compliance to live-fire event documentation

  • Adherence to and provide team education on out of state participation compliance policies per the Director of training

  • Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders and vendors

  • Manage AAR (After Activity Review) for pos event

  • Partners with Marketing Manager for budget and AAR protocols for post-events

  • Responsible for alignment with Fuel team goals

  • Remains up to date with industry trends, best practices, and innovation

  • Other duties are required

    Qualifications:

    Educational Requirements :

    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field

    Previous Experience :

  • Proven track record of 5+ years in industry event management

  • 3+ years experience planning, operating, budgeting, and logistics in trade show

  • Strong focus on trade shows customer- centric experience

    Competencies and Skills

  • Experience in live-fire shooting events in the outdoors among military, government, law enforcement and civilian communities and training.

  • Both a team and independent worker

  • Delegation

  • Understand the flow of booth design, space selection, and event opportunities

  • Visualization of product presentation I  event space and customer experience

  • Alert to successful impression during and post event to vendor, brand, and customer

  • Creates strategic planning for events well in advance

  • Budgeting and resourcing allocation

    Compensation & Benefit 

  • Travel to trade shows events, dealer days and training

  • On-site vendor and partner visits
