Aetna Analyst in Plymouth, Minnesota

Support Sales and Client Solutions teams by performing analysis on geographic and claims utilization data to assist our plan sponsors in choosing their health insurance network.

Fundamental Components:

  • Provide recommendations for new/or current business based on analysis of network performance

    • Work collaboratively with the Sales, Client Solutions, and Sales Support teams

    • Initiate relationships and establish rapport with Sales and Client Solutions teams

    • Develop working knowledge of claim platform

    • Participate in ongoing training and self-development

    • Special projects as assigned


High school diploma required and four year college degree preferred or any combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school or other combination of education, training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required tasks.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.


Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Attention to detail

Ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment

Working knowledge of PC applications such as MS Excel, Access, e-mail, and internet to include the utilization and maintenance of a Customer Relationship Management application

Excel experience strongly preferred

Ability to self start and work independently with little supervision
