FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Digital Analytics Business Analyst will be part of the Client Services organization within IT supporting US Marketing Operations and Strategy Realization. They will collaborate with business stakeholders and enterprise and divisional IT teams on the HCP Digital Analytics and Consumer Digital Analytics projects. The goal of these projects is to create capabilities and tools to provide individual teams with the information that they need to make rapid, data-driven decisions to optimize customer engagement.

Primary Responsibilities

• Gain expertise in the direction of the business stakeholders, the specific challenges they face, and the plans to advance business capabilities.

• Facilitate business requirements discussions with business stakeholders and translate those concepts into requirements, as well as understand technical concepts from development team and translate into business demos/presentations.

• Develop appropriate SDLC documentation and drive the review and approval process.

• Validate that solutions meet the documented requirements and understand the context of any questions from business stakeholders.

• Lead user acceptance testing.

• Take ownership of open items related to requirements and drive to closure with teams who need to be involved.

• Update Business Process Flow Diagrams

• Develop appropriate SDLC documentation and drive the review and approval process.

• Validate that solutions meet the documented requirements and understand the context of any questions from business stakeholders.

• Participate in planning user acceptance testing.

• Take ownership of open items related to requirements and drive to closure with teams who need to be involved.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Current background / experience with Business Analysis medium to large programs or projects within the Life Science industry

Technology Solution implementation background (System Development Lifecycle ((SDLC)) experience)

Proficient in MS Office Suite

Proficient in MS Excel

Excellent technical writing, analytical thinking and problem solving, work organization, business analysis effort estimation; opportunity identification; assumption and constraint identification; transition support

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Here are some of the differentiators/specific skills client is looking for in the 2 roles:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with both business and technical audiences

• Experience in creating and reviewing SDLC documentation

• Self-starter who takes the initiative to further analyze business processes, as well as proactively gain knowledge on the technology involved in the project

• Knowledge of US master systems’ data (Customer Master, Product Master, Alignment Master, etc.) (ideal but not required)

• (HCP / HCC Analytics BA) Experience working with BI tools (Qlik, MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.)

• (HCP / HCC Analytics BA) Consumer Digital Marketing knowledge

• (US Events Management BA) Experience working with Veeva or knowledge of events management in a regulated environment (ideal but not required)
