Description:

Performs routine and minor special radiographic procedures. Operates auxiliary equipment including, but not limited to: cameras, recorders and processors. Administers contrast materials as dictated by exam protocols.

• Operates all radiographic and ancillary equipment associated with the performance or routine and minor special radiographic procedures.

• Utilizes proper radiographic and positioning techniques in order to maximize radiographic quality and to minimize repeat images. Must appropriately label radiographs, record pertinent clinical information and identify trauma sites

• Assists radiologist and other physicians

• Accessing, entering and retrieving information from MIS is required

• Associates Degree from an accredited certification program in Radiologic Technology

• Licensure to be eligible to practice as a Licensed Radiographer in the State of Wisconsin

• Amerigan Registry of Radiologic Technologist (A.R.R.T)

Pay Scale is dependent of years of experience against the internal equity of the team. Below is a rough idea of what someone would get offered. PM Hours will receive a shift premium

0-1 year of experience: $21.50

5 years of experience: $24 - $26

10 years of experience $30 - $32

Note: Froedtert South has 4 levels of Rad Tech's based on ability and the pay scale is determined off of this as well.
