Kforce has a client seeking a IT Project Coordinator in Plantation, Florida (FL).Summary:The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Governance, Compliance and Execution of projects for the Enterprise Level Project Management Office by performing coordination duties to include, but not limited to: follow up on project tasks, scheduling meetings, handling PMO communications, providing executive support. One must be responsible for multi-tasking of project coordination of a Project Management Office that consists of dozens of project managers and hundreds of projects within the Project portfolio. One is required to prepare reports, track budgets, make travel arrangements and coordinate on-site meetings. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide administrative support including word processing, organization charts, composing and proofreading correspondence, minute taking, indexing, and managing on-line file storage

  • Independently create project, dashboards and budget/financial reports and correspondence to fit varying situations and dealing with various levels of internal and external people

  • Compose and type various styles of documents using programs within the Microsoft Office suite

  • Schedule/coordinate & lead meetings and appointments both in person and via WebEx/GoToMeeting

  • Arrange travel which may include airline, lodging, dining or ground transportation

  • Work independently or within a designated team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects

  • Assist other senior level executives, directors as request

  • Work independently with limited supervision

  • Communicating (verbal and written) with Senior level managers, Directors and VP Level leaders

  • Must be flexible in job duties and assignments

  • Associate's degree and 4 or more years of related project coordination experience, or Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Working knowledge of projects and project management life cycle

  • Knowledge of project management framework (PMBOK and/or Agile Framework is a plus)

  • Must be extremely efficient with all Microsoft Office products

  • Must be able to take initiative and provide excellent written and verbal communication

  • Very strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Takes initiative to drive results

  • Must be very organized and able to help organize others

  • Must be proactive and be able to solve problems and identify policies

  • Must be able to track and drive tasks to completion (including delegating tasks to others)

  • Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Expert in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project

  • Project management software (ServiceNow is a plus)

  • Data analytics, queries and/or report writing software (Tableau, Power BI and or Pivot Tables using MS Excel) is a plus
