Position Summary: As the Head of Private Bank and Asset Management Marketing, you will lead a lifecycle marketing team building PNC’s brand in the wealth and asset management industry, while driving new acquisitions and growth of the existing client base. This role interfaces directly with senior leadership across the Bank to align on strategic growth opportunities and build and deliver and innovative marketing strategies.

This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance creativity with a keen analytical mindset to optimize our marketing processes and maximize ROI. This leader will work in deep partnership with the Brand team in activating the recently relaunched PNC master brand through the AMG businesses. This role is a great opportunity for a leader with strong wealth management experience, who is a change agent and ready to chart a new path forward for the AMG business on its growth journey ahead. The ideal candidate will excel in the following areas:

• Storytelling: the ability to tell a compelling story about marketing strategy and impact across audiences; from senior executives to working members of the team, this leader will inspire and rally the organization behind the vision for AMG marketing success

• Data-Driven Problem Solving: a strong understanding of Marketing measurement and the ability to tie marketing results to business impact; using data and outcomes to prioritize marketing strategies and create accountability for high-impact marketing delivery against business objectives

• Sales Enablement & Content Strategy: deep experience building Brand and Marketing strategies to support sales enablement and content strategy to build awareness, generate leads and support clients through the lifecycle of need.

• Collaboration & People Leadership: track record building high performing teams and developing top marketing talent; working seamlessly across org lines to create a “one-team” approach to supporting business outcomes and driving engagement and high-impact partnership across Marketing and partner teams

This position is primarily based in a PNC location, Pittsburgh, PA; Cleveland, OH; Chicago (Downers Grove), IL; Houston, TX; or Philadelphia, PA/Wilmington, DE; Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; or Washington, DC. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

Job Description

  • Establishes the overall direction in connection with the vision. Leads the delivery of strategy in order to acquire, grow, and retain customers in support of the product life cycle and line of business goals and objectives.

  • Leads team in creation of integrated marketing strategies and aligns KPIs and measurement plans to drive business results.Serves as SME and thought leader to deliver recommendations and uses influence to build consensus and drive prioritization with senior and executive partners.Ensures team proactively adapts to and optimizes for a changing business environment.

  • Leads team to create strategies that deliver outcomes across multiple customer segments and/or business lines that align to the established vision. Directs and leads multi-functional teams and removes barriers, while establishing a relationship as a trusted advisor to business leaders to deliver desired outcomes.

  • Manages teams' delivery of business, risk, financial, and process commitments.

  • Establishes the budget and has the capability to apply, policies and practices for planning and administering a budget.

  • Develops and ensures accountability framework is maintained and prioritizes high performing strategic relationships with both internal and external business partners to achieve results.

  • Responsible for performance management, continuous coaching and development of employees to ensure that they can achieve business results and adapt to evolving business strategies and financial industry changes.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
